So I was just on Facebook and some one invited me to join a group called ‘Kicks For Sale’

Sort of intrigued me, so I decided to take a look at the group (I didn’t join it). Some kids were sellings all types of wholesale shoes, they had wholesale Nike shoes, wholesale Timberland shoes, wholesale Adidas shoes and wholesale Puma shoes from the picture that I saw. My scammer list begins further down below, here are some tips to live by if you are searching for wholesale shoes and they can apply to other products as well.

Tip # 1

Possibly the golden rule – If it seems too cheap to be true, it probably is.
I cannot emphasize this any more than I already am and I am sure you have heard it from many other people – 9 times out of 10 it isn’t a good deal you are getting, it is fake product.

E.g. Timberland boots retail anywhere from $120 – $250 USD. You might get some good deals in the outlets for $60 – $120 USD. When your supplier is offering you the brand new Spring 2010 styles for $45/pair, lets be realistic, Timberland just put them on the shelf, they would NOT be wholesaling them at that price.

Tip # 2

You can pick any colors, styles and sizes you want we have it all.

You must be thinking GREAT, what an amazing supplier I found! FAIL

This is usually a sign that these wholesale shoes are fake. Whenever I hear this it seems to me like they are going to go in the back of their factory and make what you want.  Wholesalers that get stocklots cannot offer you this, they get shelf pulls and overruns where colors, styles and sizes are always ASSORTED

Tip # 3

Is your wholesaler offering styles that the manufacturer doesn’t even make?

Classic examples I have seen is in the Nike Air Force one shoes. I have seen guys out of China selling these shoes in all sorts of rainbow skittles like colors that Nike doesn’t even make. I have seen guys selling Timberland boots with Louis Vuitton print all over them and Puma Ferrari shoes that look like a kid colored on them.

Do your research. If you see odd styles, chance are the manufacturer probably doesn’t even make those and your new found wholesale shoe supplier has been cranking out their own favorite designs.

One I always see is Wholesale Nike Jordans – Nike does not have an unlimited supply of every Jordan shoe that they created but many of these so called legit suppliers can get you any Nike Jordan starting from the 1st edition – Ya right.

All of these tips are just a starting point, but even adhering to these 3 tips will 9 out of 10 times steer you away from scammers selling fake wholesale shoes.

Here is the beginning to my long saga of wholesale scammers lists.
